Job Title: Enterprise Big Data Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Big Data Architect to lead the design, development and deployment of large-scale big data systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, secure and high-performance big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other related technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of big data systems
  • Design and develop scalable, secure and high-performance big data solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate big data solutions with existing infrastructure
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and security
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering and/or architecture
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in working with NoSQL databases and data lakes
  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing and optimization
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms and architectures
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems
