Job Description

As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the financial health and creditworthiness of commercial borrowers. This involves analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends and risks, and making recommendations on loan approval or denial.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and market research. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

This role requires a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit investigations, including analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and collateral.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate credit risk.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to borrower inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and market research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
