Visual Artist Job Description

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled Visual Artist to create engaging and interactive visual content for our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing 2D game art and UI work.

As a Visual Artist, you will be responsible for designing polished in-game art assets, including characters, props, environments, VFX, and icons. You will also be expected to maintain style guides and ensure visual consistency across screens and states.

To achieve this, you will need to leverage various tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Procreate. Additionally, proficiency in Blender, Maya, Unity, or Unreal is a plus.

The successful candidate will possess excellent visual skills, including an understanding of visual hierarchy, readability, and accessibility. They will also be able to optimize exports and handoffs, ensuring clean and efficient workflows.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can collaborate effectively with designers, PMs, engineers, and ship projects on clear timelines.

  • Clean export/handoff: naming, slicing, densities, and asset optimisation.
