Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Creative-a strategic, creative, and operational leader with deep experience orchestrating campaigns across international markets. This role is critical in translating our global brand vision into impactful, localized, and insight-driven consumer experiences across all marketing touchpoints.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

- Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision and strategy focused on enhancing PayPal's marketing strategy and brand identity that inspires others
- Oversee and direct the development of creative strategies, content programs and campaigns with direct impact on PayPal revenue, expense, budget, and growth
- Negotiate with and influence the decision-making of senior internal and external executives and decision-makers
- Create operational and strategic objectives and plans for fostering brand loyalty using domain knowledge and extensive expertise
- Provide guidance to critical cross-functional and cross-organizational teams focused on business transformation across PayPal
- Identify and resolve strategic problems or issues by developing new or innovative solutions

- Minimum of 18 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Stewardship

- Champion and uphold world-class creative standards across global markets, ensuring all work reflects our brand purpose and ambition.

- Evaluate and guide creative development across diverse media formats, markets, and cultures, with an emphasis on culturally intelligent, insight-led creative.

- Act as a key creative voice and gatekeeper-bringing thoughtfulness, inspiration, and high expectations to every touchpoint.

Global Campaign Program Leadership

- Lead the development, execution, and delivery of globally integrated marketing programs-spanning North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM-from strategy to launch.

- Ensure all global programs are adapted with local relevance and meet market-specific business needs while maintaining creative integrity.

- Oversee timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure smooth and on-time delivery across markets and teams.

Strategic Partnership & Influence

- Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across brand, regional marketing, media, and product teams to align global and local priorities.

- Translate complex business and regional needs into clear creative briefs and integrated campaign strategies that drive measurable impact worldwide.

- Drive alignment and clarity across cross-functional partners, executive stakeholders,

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of global program and project managers foster collaboration across geographies to build scalable processes and global best practices.

- Oversee the implementation of streamlined workflows to support regional adaptation, transcreation, and localization at scale.

- Promote a culture of accountability, creative excellence, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.

Agency & Partner Management

- Manage relationships with global creative agencies and production partners to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality creative in all regions.

- Stay attuned to international creative trends, market behaviors, and regional media landscapes to inform strategy and execution.

- Introduce innovative tools, including AI-powered solutions, to optimize creative production and maximize impact.

Qualifications

- 15+ years of experience in global creative program leadership, brand marketing, and integrated campaign delivery across diverse geographies.

- Proven success managing large-scale global campaigns and delivering creative that is both strategically aligned and culturally resonant.

- Strong global mindset with experience partnering with regional teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

- Deep knowledge of creative workflows, localization/transcreation processes, and global campaign lifecycle management.

- Excellent creative judgment and the ability to evaluate and inspire exceptional work that meets both brand and market-specific needs.

- Demonstrated comfort and curiosity in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative ideation, improve production efficiency, and drive performance outcomes.

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills thrives in complex, matrixed global organizations.

- Background in consumer-facing industries such as technology, retail, CPG, or lifestyle with international presence strongly preferred.
