Job Summary

This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to end-user applications and authentication solutions.

The successful candidate will manage authentication tools and technologies such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and IAM platforms.

A key aspect of this position is analyzing existing processes and recommending solutions to improve authentication and application access efficiency.

The individual in this role will lead the planning and implementation of application updates and patches.

Collaboration with cybersecurity teams is crucial to ensure compliance with authentication and identity access management policies.

Additionally, this person will provide L2/L3 support for authentication issues and application access problems.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordination with QA teams are essential to validate functionality before deployment.

Maintenance of documentation, process flows, and training materials for end-user application use and access is also required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Fundamental understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues.
  • Working knowledge of security protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Brief experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications like Office 365, ServiceNow, SAP, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for documentation and ticket tracking.
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, SSO, and MFA solutions (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, Duo).
