Data Centre Design Manager

Colt Data Centre Services is seeking an experienced Data Centre Design Manager to join our Delivery Team. This role will be based in (Location) and comes with a salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and agile professional to support the delivery of multiple data centre projects across the globe. As a Data Centre Design Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our high standards.
About the Role- You will be responsible for managing the design programme, including the creation and review of employer's requirements, tender information, and design documentation.
- You will work closely with external design consultants and contractors to ensure that their designs meet our requirements and are delivered on time.
- You will apply a commercial approach to all aspects of the work, including design, engineering, and construction, to ensure that we achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- You will analyse, review, and comment on design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data submitted for review.
- You will participate in project commissioning activities and provide support and advice to the Global Head of Mechanical Engineering as required.
- You will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
- You will have previous experience working in a MEP data centre design role within mission critical facilities.
- You will have a thorough understanding of site planning and interdependent disciplines, such as civils, structures, and architecture.
- You will have excellent written and verbal English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- You will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
