Relational Database Expert

We are seeking an experienced relational database expert to design, develop and maintain complex data systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build complex relational databases using SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views and triggers.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation using SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Create normalized and denormalized data models for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Monitor, maintain and improve database security, integrity and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL tools: Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).
  • Performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
