Scientific Content Specialist Role Overview

The Medical Writer position is a unique opportunity to merge medical expertise with writing skills. This challenging and rewarding work requires in-depth scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt writing style to various materials and target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality educational materials, including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics, that cater to diverse audiences and formats.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and needs anticipation.
  • Communicate efficiently with team members, authors, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry developments by attending workshops, seminars, and trainings, contributing to organizational objectives.
  • Apply scientific and creative knowledge to design impactful medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing, demonstrating a clear understanding of scientific concepts and writing styles.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or PhD (Life Sciences) or PharmD with a strong foundation in clinical research and medical communication.
  • Excellent language skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a concise and clear manner.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
