Job Title: Financial Specialist

Role Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled financial professional to join our team as a Financial Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and analyzing accounting data.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage business transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of payables and receivables.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related notes.
  • Analyze expense variances for management and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable & Receivables, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
  • Provide accurate financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account details.
  • Develop financial strategies by analyzing options and recommending courses of action.
  • Present current financial status by collecting and analyzing data, and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Verify financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintain accounting controls by developing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Ensure data security by completing database backups.
  • Foster a culture of financial transparency and accountability within the organization.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting relevant regulations and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing financial laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Produce special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and protect organizational assets.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or Tally.
Skills:
  • Accounting principles and practices.
  • Financial analysis and reporting.
  • Accounting software proficiency.
