Senior Product Designer

About the Role

We seek a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our digital products. This role involves creating systems that keep our products consistent and scalable while setting high standards for visual quality.

This position is both hands-on and strategic. You will design high-impact features yourself and guide our visual approach while mentoring other designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for major product initiatives across web, mobile, and new fan engagement platforms.
  • Define the visual direction for our products, ensuring every touchpoint feels fresh, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Design and deliver polished, detail-driven user interfaces — from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes — that balance beauty and usability.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system and component libraries to ensure visual and functional consistency across the brand.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Editorial, and Growth to align design decisions with user needs and business objectives.
  • Take initiative in setting high design standards and fostering good design practices within the organization.
  • Use user insights, testing, and data to validate and refine design concepts.
  • Stay aware of design trends in sports media, UI/UX, and fan engagement to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in digital product design, ideally in media, sports, or other high-traffic consumer platforms.
  • Portfolio: A strong body of work showcasing both top-tier visual design and thoughtful UX solutions.
  • Craft Skills: Mastery of Figma (plus relevant prototyping tools) and strong typography, composition, and interaction design skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect visual execution to user needs and business priorities.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting work to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring designers and advocating for design excellence within a team or organization.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience designing for sports, entertainment, or online communities.
  • Skills in branding, or creative storytelling.
