Key responsibilities include developing curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment to align with global standards and industry needs. The role also involves building research capacity, strengthening institutional frameworks, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Vice Chancellor will champion student welfare, career readiness, and holistic development, while creating a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating campus environment.

External engagement and representation are critical components of this role, requiring strong partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare providers, and industries to support internships, placements, and knowledge exchange.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Academic Leadership

    • Builds and supports research capacity through faculty and student scholarly activities, publishing, and securing funding.

  • Institutional Governance and Compliance
    • Ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversees the functioning of statutory bodies such as the Academic Council, Finance Committee, and Board of Management.

    • Represents the institution at national and international platforms to build visibility and reputation.
    • Establishes partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare providers, research bodies, and industries.
