Enterprise Server Architect

A seasoned technical expert is sought after to lead and execute server infrastructure projects, focusing on the design, deployment, and management of high-performance Microsoft Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability server infrastructure for multiple sites, utilizing various Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 server platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for application deployments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and implement automated tools using PowerShell and Python to streamline system management and maintenance tasks.
- Implement security updates using SCCM, maintaining compliance levels and vulnerability management of infrastructure.
- Provide level 3 support for operational and deployment issues, upgrades, migrations, conflicts, and client health issues.
- Deploy and manage VMware and HP blade infrastructure, administering, monitoring, supporting, preventing, maintaining, fixing, and improving virtual and physical environments.
- Collaborate with local teams to resolve patching issues, providing shift and weekend coverage as required.
- Monitor and manage AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, identifying and implementing key infrastructure automations through Powershell and Python.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad ability including problem-solving and resolution, network diagnostics, monitoring, automation, scripting, and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Server products suite.
- Experience with System Center Suite, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
