**Job Title**:
Server Administrator

Responsibilities/Duties: (in brief) (List the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.)
- Installation, configuration, and support for all Windows and ESX servers
- Responsible for administering Citrix technology products like XenApp, Xen Desktop,

XenMobile, XenServer, NetScaler, and ShareFile
- Administering, updating, and maintaining the software
- Have a track on metrics for interoperability, support and security
- Provide documentation and reports for risks or potential system problems
- Troubleshoot and solve the problems
- Maintain the software across the platforms
- Performance tuning
- Virus updates and patches
- Use various tools to monitor resource usage
- Create and use alarms to report certain conditions or events
- Create, clone, and export vApps
- Use vCenter Server performance charts and esxtop to analyze vSphere performance
- Deploy ESXi hosts and create virtual machines, vApps
- Deploy VMware vCenter Server Appliance
- Backup and restore vCenter Server
- Deploy vCenter Server Appliance to be highly available
- Configure virtual networks with vSphere standard switches
- Use vSphere distributed switches to improve network scalability
- Use vCenter Server to manage various types of storage
- Manage virtual machines, templates, clones, and snapshots
- Perform basic troubleshooting of ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and vCenter Server
- Migrate virtual machines with VMware vSphere vMotion
- Monitor resource usage and manage resource pools
- Manage VMware vSphere High Availability and VMware vSphere Fault Tolerance
- Use VMware vSphere Replication and VMware vSphere Data Protection to replicate virtual

machines and perform data recovery
- Use VMware vSphere Distributed Resource Scheduler clusters to improve host scalability
- Configure and use virtual machine storage policies

Primary Skill Set

Windows: Windows Server 2003, 2003R2, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2
Desired:
Working experience in large enterprise IT environment
End-to-End Responsibility on the High Availability and Continuity of Services.
Documentation of the existing environment and all the changes.
Maintaining the Change History and Config.
