Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records for companies.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Use accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
