Job Opportunity

The Director, Product Management position is based in Telangana, India.

In this role, you will report to the Sr. Director of Products & Engineering:

  1. As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of Product Line Managers, evaluating key programs supporting product development.
  2. Your responsibilities will involve understanding customer needs, analyzing business value, writing product requirements, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  3. You will shape the product roadmap, ensuring product quality and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to drive innovation and differentiation.
  2. Product Development: Lead end-to-end product development from conceptualization to launch.
  3. Identify opportunities, define product requirements, and collaborate with engineering and design teams.
  4. Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap incorporating input from stakeholders, market research, and customer feedback.
  5. Continuously evaluate and adjust the roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  7. Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and product positioning to drive successful product launches.
  8. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to drive product adoption, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  9. Market Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and stay up-to-date with competitor offerings.
  10. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for enhancements and new feature development.
  11. Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and develop a team of Product Line Managers.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Engineering) with 15+ years of progressive Mechanical Product Development experience, including 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of launching and managing products.
  • Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing a team of engineers or product managers.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize opportunities quickly and effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a knack for proactive working and communication.
  • Ability to write clear and measurable product requirements.
  • Deep understanding of product development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
