Release Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to work with an established client team involved in the project initiation through to project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Murex upgrades and migrations on time, ensuring the timely availability of environments and managing code per release.
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, and other DevOps tools.
  • Design and implement automation scripts using Unix scripting, PowerShell, and other languages to streamline environment-related activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the release process, implementing best practices and standardization across services.
  • Manage team operations, finances, and operational risks while driving continuous improvements.
  • Lead and influence people to drive business performance and deliver results, establishing a culture of innovation and strategic thinking.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Murex 3.1.4/48 and cloud deployment with latest tool sets like AWS, Jenkins, and TeamCity.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure components, databases, UNIX, networking, storage, and engineering solutions.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and Unix scripting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in line management and team development.
  • Ability to innovate continuously and teach others in areas like Automation of environment-related activities, Unix scripting, and Jenkins.
