Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Murex MXTest Consultant. The consultant will be instrumental in managing and executing testing activities within Murex applications using MXTest. Responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, managing test execution, identifying, and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality assurance. This hybrid role is located in Bengaluru, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities

Define the Murex test strategy and create detailed test cases for your squad's deliverables.

Execute and automate test cases using the MxTest platform.

Analyze Murex test run outputs to identify, triage, and resolve issues.

Collaborate with the ST, SIT, and UAT teams, including business stakeholders, to ensure end-to-end test coverage.

Independently take ownership of assigned tasks from day one, requiring minimal handholding.

Manage your work with a self-driven and proactive mindset in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Skills

Must have

7+ years of hands-on experience in Murex MXtest.

Proven expertise in Murex, with full front-to-back testing exposure in FX, IR, and Commodities.

Strong working knowledge of MxTest (or Onyx), including both implementation and execution of test suites.

Proficient in SQL and Unix.

Strong background in software testing methodologies and technical business analysis.

Able to start independently and manage responsibilities without close supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working in Agile teams and using Agile testing practices.

Murex Performance testing

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc)

Batch processing testing

Control-M

Exposure to FRTB or regulatory risk initiatives.

Experience with other Murex modules or tools.
