Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrumentation Designer to join our team.

  • This is a highly technical role that requires strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, design principles, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing discipline-specific design and drafting services, including technical support and supervision both within the discipline and to other disciplines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality design and drafting services that meet clients' requirements and industry standards;
  • Initiating, managing, and supervising design and drafting assignments on project requirements;
  • Performing discipline-specific design and drafting services such as preparing engineering drawings and documentation;
  • Ensuring all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with industry standards;
  • Providing technical support, supervision, and advice to the discipline team and project teams;
  • Communicating effectively with the discipline team, clients, and other project stakeholders;
  • Participating in project reviews and making presentations as required;
  • Acting as the discipline Lead on specific projects if required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial design and drafting experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry;
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices;
  • Proficiency in software tools such as E3D, AutoCAD, SPI, PDS, and Microstation;
  • A recognized design qualification in the relevant discipline or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
