Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality and excellence in our team.

  • As part of our QA team, you will work on overall testing activities, approaches, and strategies to ensure complete test coverage.
  • You will prepare, review, and maintain testing documents to ensure that testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration and participation in regular QA team meetings or triage calls.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile environments to facilitate effective testing activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years experience as Software QA with a strong background in testing methodologies.
  • Client-facing experience to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA / AzureDevops.

Required skills include:

  • Manual Testing to identify defects and issues.
  • Test Planning to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Test Case Development to create detailed test cases.
  • Bug Tracking to manage and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Regression Testing to ensure consistent quality.
  • SDLC Knowledge to understand software development lifecycle.
  • Mentorship to guide team members in testing best practices.
  • Root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
  • Jira/ AzureDevops to manage testing activities effectively.

Excellent communication skills and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications are also required.
