Job Profile:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Strategist to assume key responsibilities in risk management. As a prominent figure within the organization, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating diverse risks associated with investment activities.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Analyze market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks through diligent analysis.
  • Evaluate investment portfolios to assess exposure to various risk factors, providing actionable insights.

Risk Management Approach:

  • Implement tailored risk mitigation strategies and collaborate closely with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are integrated into portfolio decisions.
  • Develop customized solutions for model portfolios, ensuring effective investment outcomes for individual clients.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that all risk management activities align with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory changes and implement necessary updates as appropriate.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
  • Develop advanced risk models and stress-testing scenarios to measure potential impacts on the portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like FRM, CFA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex risk information clearly.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools like Bloomberg, FACTSET, Barra, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
