Job Description

Cloud Infrastructure Specialist:

As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L2), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of clients' cloud infrastructure and services. Your primary objective will be to proactively review client requests or tickets, applying technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreements (SLA). You will focus on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Nutanix clusters for mission-critical applications.
  • Configure and optimize Nutanix AOS, AHV, and Prism.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Nutanix infrastructure.
  • Stay current with Nutanix updates, releases, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

For this role, we are looking for an individual with a moderate level of relevant managed services experience. The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV, and Prism, as well as in-depth knowledge of virtualization, storage technologies, and cloud technologies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCSE) are highly preferred.
