Unlocking Sustainable Communities through Innovative Battery Engineering
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Specialist - Battery Chemistry/Modelling/Analysis to lead complex battery engineering projects and drive the development of stronger, more sustainable communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with chief engineers and technical stewards to develop product strategies
- Create 1-D physics-based and empirical models for battery systems components
- Battery degradation modelling and define long-term strategy for modelling
- Define technical requirements and translate them into development activities in battery programs
- Lead product gateway reviews and technical forums
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers on performing daily tasks
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Ph.D./Post Doc in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years experience
- Or a Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years experience
- Relevant experience with product development and research in areas like Battery and/or other alternate power sources
