Software Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job Description

This is a full-time position requiring at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance. As a member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design and execution of test cases
  • Evaluation of the testing process and provision of recommendations as necessary
  • Timely execution of test cases
  • Identification and recording of defects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of QA experience in data projects
  • Good experience in ETL/Data warehouse projects
  • Collaboration with Development/Business teams to understand requirements
  • Analyzing Business Requirements/cases and developing/managing positive/negative test scenarios
  • Ability to create test files to validate Business requirements and metadata layer configurations
  • Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to address data issues
  • Experience using Jira to track work assignments
  • Working experience in Cloud-related projects
  • Working experience in AWS/AWS Services is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
