Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. You will collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to test and validate software functionality, identify issues, and ensure that products meet user expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellent software experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system (e.g., JIRA).
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Technical Skills:

You should be proficient in:

  • Writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.
Soft Skills:

In addition to technical skills, you should also possess:

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
