Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Peptide Synthesis Scientist to join our research and development team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in peptide synthesis, analytical techniques, and process development.

Key responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and developing new peptide-based APIs.

  • Solid-phase and solution phase peptide synthesis
  • C- and N-terminal modifications, peptide conjugations
  • Impurity profiling, synthesis, isolation
  • Purification of peptides and impurities
  • Writing lab journals, preparing technical documents
  • Analytical and spectroscopic characterization of peptides

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Good solid-phase and solution phase peptide synthesis experience
  • Hybrid technologies/Molecular Hiving expertise preferred
  • Experience in process development of peptide pharmaceuticals
  • Scale-up of processes advantageous

You should also possess:

  • Ph.D./MSc./M.Pharm. (Chemistry)
  • Experience in peptide-derived API's synthesis role
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude
