Job Title

Industrialization Electrical Product Costing Leader

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Industrialization Electrical Product Costing Leader. This role requires expertise in cost calculation, product costing, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master the cost calculation of each cost element during the offer creation process
  • Understand consolidation processes and conduct product cost analysis, identify main cost drivers, cost gaps, and root cause analysis
  • Master cost calculations of each item by manufacturing plant and according to different ERP/Oracle/SAP systems
  • Assess part costs using standard technologies such as molding, stamping, and PCBA
  • Carry out ramp-down cost calculations, analyze changes, estimate RMI impact, and benchmark main cost gaps between new and legacy offers
  • Understand the principal of circular economy and compute the impact of green design
  • Take a step back to check and validate results, provide reliability indices, and/or error margins on results
  • Estimate product assembly times (manual or automatic), compute cost-to-deliver to customers, and spread WW to compare several industrial scenarios
  • Proactively manage star products' costs from select to close gates, provide insights to select the best product/solution, and improve product competitiveness through QVE action plans
  • Manage star products from very early phases, master sensitivity analyses, forecast cost trends and gaps, consider RMI and inflation, and communicate efficiently
  • Do reverse engineering to assess competitor product costs, advise on cost versus features performance, and lead workshops on design-to-cost
  • Ability to challenge areas of improvement for significant cost gaps and understand profitability KPIs (NPV, IRR, payback)
  • Know different levers that impact profitability and how to leverage them, understand ONYX principles, and know manufacturing plant PL overall CCO in organizations/companies
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of cost calculation, product costing, and process optimization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in using data from different sources (iDB, SCOP V2, PUMA, ERP/Oracle/SAP)
