WLAN Development Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled WLAN Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wireless networking protocols and embedded software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain WLAN Linux device drivers for 802.11ax devices, ensuring robust and optimized performance.
  • Develop and maintain WLAN firmware for 802.11ac and 802.11n devices, including feature implementation, performance optimization, and bug fixes.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Embedded C code for WLAN drivers and firmware.
  • Perform advanced WLAN debugging using tools such as Wireshark, kernel logs, and custom test setups to identify and resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system teams for device bring-up, integration testing, and validation of WLAN solutions in various embedded platforms.
  • Apply knowledge of wireless protocols, TCP/IP stack, and networking concepts to optimize WLAN performance and reliability.
  • Maintain proper documentation for drivers, firmware, and test cases.
  • Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in WLAN Linux device driver development, preferably with excellent proficiency in Embedded C programming and Linux kernel internals.
  • Hands-on experience in WLAN firmware development, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of networking and wireless protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and Wi-Fi standards.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Wireshark, kernel logs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues in embedded systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good understanding of product development life cycle, software testing, and validation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
