Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design and implement data models that align with business requirements; create and manage database objects such as tables, views, and schemas within Snowflake.

  • Create efficient ETL processes to move data into and out of Snowflake; integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, and transform data to meet business needs.
  • Optimize queries and data warehouse performance for efficiency and scalability; monitor and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
  • Implement security measures to protect data within Snowflake; set up and maintain user roles, privileges, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Integrate Snowflake with other data sources and tools to facilitate seamless data flow and analysis; collaborate with other teams to ensure data integration aligns with overall business goals.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency; orchestrate data workflows and dependencies to ensure timely and accurate data processing.

About You:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing data objects, such as databases, tables, and views in Snowflake.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization within the Snowflake environment.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes for data integration using tools like Snowflake's native features and Apache Airflow.
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles and experience in designing effective and efficient data models.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java for automating tasks and implementing custom solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and experience implementing security measures within Snowflake; understanding of compliance requirements relevant to the organization's industry.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
