Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Browse and implement APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models.
  • Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs, classification models) for specific business use cases.
  • Integrate external AI services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – ML engineers, software developers, product managers, and DevOps – to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features.
  • Contribute to MLOps workflows, including deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.
  • Adhere to engineering best practices for clean code, testing, observability, and reliability.
Requirements
  • A strong background in backend engineering with experience building robust systems and a passion for applied AI.
  • Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL, with experience delivering production-grade services.
  • Familiar with deploying and integrating ML models into applications, including fine-tuning pre-trained models.
  • Comfortable working across backend systems and AI pipelines.
  • A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
