Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

As a seasoned DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines. This position requires expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, building and managing containerized environments, and collaborating with development teams to optimize build, release, and deployment processes.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines that meet business objectives.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, release, and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and security, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack to enhance visibility and responsiveness.
  • Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments using tools like AWS Config, IAM, Security Hub, or GuardDuty, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Optimize cost and performance of cloud infrastructure through continuous monitoring and refactoring, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide operational support and participate in on-call rotations, ensuring 24/7 availability and prompt issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc., with a focus on cloud architecture and migration.
  • Proficient in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or CircleCI, with a strong understanding of pipeline automation and optimization.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), with a focus on building and deploying scalable and secure applications.
  • Solid understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, with experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), with experience in writing efficient and scalable scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Git and GitOps workflows, with a strong understanding of version control and collaboration.
