Data Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, processing large datasets, and integrating with various APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc
  • Orchestrate complex workflows using Apache Airflow and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into various systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data architectures that meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data processing and integration
  • Create documentation of data components, including data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and database administration

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based technologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have previous financial or banking experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
