Key Role: Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Lead to drive the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling technologies across our infrastructure projects. This role will be pivotal in enhancing design, planning, and execution workflows by leveraging advanced modeling tools like Tekla.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage BIM Models: Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications for precast construction projects.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Integrate BIM workflows into project execution, working closely with design, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Utilize Tekla Software: Create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • Establish BIM Standards: Enforce best practices within the business unit, ensuring seamless collaboration and accurate data exchange.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Train team members on BIM tools and methodologies, driving continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Coordinate with External Stakeholders: Ensure alignment on BIM deliverables with contractors, consultants, and other external parties.
  • Monitor Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic planning.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of precast modeling projects.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
