Operations Director Job Description

Talasha seeks a seasoned operations director to oversee the execution of last mile operations for our quick service app in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead city-wide operations to deliver on-time services to customers, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage end-to-end ground staff and last mile operations, including deployment, training, uptime, servicing, and utilization.
  • Analyze business processes to identify improvements for customer satisfaction metrics, cost reduction, and service efficiency.
  • Develop an optimized instant-delivery network to reduce delivery timelines and increase operational efficiency.
  • Benchmark performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, service breaches, lost orders, and cost per service.
  • Build and lead teams of hub executives and recruiters, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Drive service staff acquisition through targeted on-ground marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvements in technology and algorithms used by the operations team.
Requirements:
  • 10-14 years of experience driving business and last mile operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience handling complex operations P&L, large teams, and intricate ground operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to own performance metrics and drive business decisions.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages is essential.
