JAMF Specialist

The role of JAMF Consultant - End User Computing is to provide expert-level support for managing MAC devices, user identity, and endpoint protection using JAMF administration. This position involves configuring and managing Microsoft Intune device management and policy settings, as well as maintaining security compliance across the global endpoint estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain JAMF administration to provide effective MAC device management, user identity, and endpoint protection.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune device management and policy settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain security compliance across the global endpoint estate by implementing best practices for vulnerability management, Evergreen upgrade processes, and patch management.
• Develop and implement best practices for vulnerability management, Evergreen upgrade processes, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy, and security patches.
• Analyze log files and windows events to identify incidents and performance issues.
• Manage and triage incidents with Service Delivery, IT Security, and desktop support teams.
• Educate stakeholders on technology adoption and best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Packaging, Senior Technical Management, Product Owners, and Project Managers to support technology across the Collaboration stack.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for macOS, Windows 10/11, and Evergreen across all EUC platforms (Laptop, PC, VDI).
• Maintain adherence to Security Policy standards and ensure operational requirements are met in the delivery of services around standards and engineering.
• Own and keep technical documentation up to date, including hardware certification standards and Knowledge Base support articles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with JAMF Administration on JAMF Pro/JAMF Cloud.
• Microsoft Intune device management and policy configuration.
• Microsoft Autopilot maintenance and engineering.
• Enterprise-level patching and vulnerability management.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (System Centre Configuration Manager).
• Knowledge of build task sequence in SCCM.
• Advanced Group Policy and Active Directory troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced macOS and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills.
• Browser support and Microsoft Edge enterprise mode configuration.
• Ability to deliver custom solutions to address non-standard requirements or provide additional value.
• Strong understanding of remote access technologies and client troubleshooting.
