Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tower Design & Estimation Engineer/Manager to join our organization. The role involves designing, estimating, planning, and executing transmission line and telecom tower projects with a strong focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare design calculations, structural analysis, and detailed tower drawings in compliance with international standards.
  • Develop BOQ, BOM, and cost estimations for tendering and project execution.
  • Evaluate client specifications, tender documents, and provide technical & commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure alignment of design with project requirements.
  • Perform load analysis, proto development support, and optimization of tower design for cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the estimation process for domestic and international transmission & substation projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment, and value engineering for new projects.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.
  • Implement ERP/SAP systems for estimation, planning, and inventory management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (Master's in Engineering preferred).
  • 5-12+ years of experience in Tower Design, Estimation, and Project Planning in Power Transmission / Telecom Tower industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP/JDE).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards.
  • Experience in global tendering & estimation for OHTL, Substations, and Telecom Tower projects.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
