Job Title: Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operational Risk Manager to lead and manage independent projects across various operational risk management areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to minimize losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage independent projects across operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, SOP development, third-party risk management, incident management, and reporting.
  • Review and verify existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices for theoretical soundness and testing design.
  • Meet business needs and regulatory expectations by assessing key aspects of each area under review.
  • Demonstrate independence in stakeholder engagement, testing design and execution, results interpretation, and presentation.
  • Work with a broad group of stakeholders to investigate operational risk and governance standards, undertake detailed risk and control self-assessment, and define KRIs along with associated thresholds.
  • Have a deep understanding of process risk and controls, associated compliance requirements, and the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles.
  • Responsible for proposal preparation, pitch decks, client meetings, and thought leadership documents across various ORM related areas.
  • Lead team building, mentoring, and project management, as well as stakeholder management in a project.

Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of experience in operational risk management, with expertise in incident management, third-party risks, business continuity planning, loss data, risk-based process reviews, internal controls, SOP, and policies.
  • CA, MBA, or any other relevant master's program qualification.
  • Project Management and ORM certifications desirable.
  • Fluency in English language required.
  • Experience with GRC tools such as MetricStream, SAP GRC, etc., beneficial.
