Job Overview

We are expanding our technical department and seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in shaping our technology proposition and will be responsible for technical leadership, supporting technology consulting projects, identifying and advising on suitable solutions for clients.

  • Write clean, reusable code following best practices while helping define coding standards and team conventions.
  • Advocate for developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Lead the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.
  • Set up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • A high level of proficiency and understanding in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with experience in Node.js desirable.
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment using tools such as Circle CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • An appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
  • Experience building services for high-traffic systems is desirable.
