Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in SSRS to design, develop, and deploy reports that drive business growth. This is a contract position that requires 5-7 years of experience with SSRS 2012/2017.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into reusable reporting solutions.
  • Optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and accuracy.
  • Managing report subscriptions and configuring security permissions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing reports and data sources.
  • Working with SQL Server views, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
  • Maintaining documentation on report logic, versioning, and deployment processes.
  • Participating in code reviews and following source control and deployment best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with SSRS 2012 and/or 2017.
  • Strong T-SQL skills: able to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
  • Solid understanding of relational database structures and SQL Server internals.
  • Proven experience using stored procedures, views, and functions in reporting scenarios.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to data quality.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Experience with performance tuning for SSRS reports and backend queries.
  • Familiarity with parameterized reports, expressions, and dynamic layouts/groupings.
