Associate Professor in Computer Science Engineering

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of total teaching/research/industry experience with a minimum of 5 years post-PhD academic experience.

  • Teach high-quality courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering.
  • Guide and mentor students for projects, theses, and research activities.
  • Lead and contribute to research initiatives, publish in reputable journals, and present at conferences.
  • Develop innovative curriculum and course materials in line with industry trends and academic standards.
  • Supervise PhD scholars and foster a research-oriented environment within the department.
  • Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives.
  • Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor post-PhD.
  • Strong publication record in reputable international journals and conferences.
  • Proven track record in securing research funding and leading projects is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields is desirable.

  • Experience in curriculum design and accreditation processes.
  • Strong network with academic and industry professionals.
  • Passion for innovation, research, and student development.
