The role of a Risk Specialist is to ensure customer trust and safeguard brand owners on Amazon by identifying and preventing abuse. A leader with a background in program management and risk mitigation will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

About The Team

We are responsible for managing escalations related to suspected Selling Partner fraud and abuse on Amazon stores. As the centralized point for all internally-driven abuse-related issues, we operate through an email alias. Our team conducts thorough investigations, identifies the root causes of escalations, and drives initiatives across global program teams to prevent recurring issues.

Our team's goal is to uphold Amazon's reputation for excellence by identifying and preventing abuse that could impact customers and brand owners globally. To achieve this, we design and implement policies, tools, and technological innovations that safeguard customers.

Job Description

  • Lead and support teams in investigating, managing, and resolving high-impact incidents and escalations.
  • Execute strategy to enhance customer trust and protect brand owners.
  • Analyze existing policy and process gaps, developing solutions to close them.
  • Manage projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, including data analysis and collaboration with external teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in law, customer service, investigations, or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and succinctly.
  • Ability to move quickly and decisively to resolve incidents.
