Job Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Operations Manager to oversee the management of corporate tax accounting and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, as well as managing tax provision processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and ensure accuracy of tax accounting, including preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
- Oversee computation of corporate tax liabilities, ensuring accurate calculation and reporting of taxable income, deductions, and credits.
- Manage tax provision processes, including preparation and review of tax journals, reconciliations, and disclosures in financial statements.
Scrutiny of Transactions:
- Conduct thorough scrutiny of financial transactions to identify and assess tax implications.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and review tax reports, including quarterly and annual tax provisions, compliance reports, and management reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all tax-related processes, policies, and decisions.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience post qualification.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tax accounting and compliance, strong knowledge of IFRS, and proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze tax issues and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and compliance in tax reporting and documentation.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing a team of tax professionals.
