Job Title: Senior IT Application Manager

The role of a Senior IT Application Manager involves overseeing the efficient operation of various academic and administrative applications on campus. This includes managing multiple systems, such as CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Management & Operations
    • Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications, including deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, performance optimization.
    • E nsure high availability, reliability, and security of all academic and administrative applications.
    • Oversee issue resolution, incident management, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with academic leaders and administrative heads to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
    • Act as the primary liaison with application vendors and service providers.
    • Lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.
  • Strategic Planning & Governance
    • Define and execute the application roadmap in alignment with institutional digital transformation goals.
    • Establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
    • Recommend and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management
    • Lead and mentor the application support team at campus level.
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
    • Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Integration & Data Management
    • Drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.
    • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
    • Maintain compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have around 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's preferred) is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with excellent project management and change management capability.

Requirements:
  • Functional and technical expertise in enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
