Software Engineer

Are you a skilled software engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for building robust, scalable and secure web services?

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and deploying large-scale distributed systems that can handle high traffic loads.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, highly available, scalable and secure web services.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is committed to the repository.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on web services.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms and software design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud-based solution design, configuration and development.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as React, Redux, GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of caching techniques and feature toggles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with messaging or event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Source control tools - GitHub or BitBucket.
