SAP Basis Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP system landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain SAP systems, including database administration, user management, and security.
  • Configure and upgrade SAP HANA databases, perform regular database maintenance, and monitor performance.
  • Manage SAP application servers, instances, and system landscapes.
  • Perform system copies, system refreshes, and client copies.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues.
  • Implement and maintain security policies for SAP systems.
  • Overssee the transport landscape, import and export transport requests between systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Significant experience in SAP production system environment.
  • Experience in HANA administration, implementation, migration, rev upgrades.
  • SAP certification desired (NetWeaver HANA Administration).
  • Well-versed in Oracle Database and Windows, Linux Operating systems.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Azure and AWS (Azure and AWS certification is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
