Shopify Developer Position

This role is responsible for designing, developing and customizing Shopify themes to reflect brand identity.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, customizing and maintaining the Shopify platform, as well as integrating and managing third-party Shopify apps, APIs and plugins.

A strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential for this position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and customize Shopify themes to ensure consistency across all digital channels.
  • Integrate and manage third-party Shopify apps, APIs and plugins to enhance user experience and drive sales.
  • Optimize website speed and overall performance using industry best practices and staying up-to-date with Shopify updates.
  • Maintain and update product listings, banners and promotional landing pages to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website using problem-solving skills and debugging techniques.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams for campaigns and new features to foster a cohesive brand strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field providing a solid foundation in programming principles and software development.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as a Shopify Developer or Web Developer demonstrating expertise in e-commerce platforms and web development technologies.
  • Experience in Shopify app integration and customization showcasing ability to work with third-party tools and services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development technologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
