Description

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee the procurement of construction materials across various engineering disciplines. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and the ability to negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of construction materials, including structure steel, TMT, aluminium works, cleaning agents, and other relevant items.
  • Sourcing materials from approved vendors, ensuring quality aligns with client requirements.
  • Negotiating with vendors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current market prices for construction items.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and relevant specifications issued by clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to engage constructively with vendors.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in accounts or a related field.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures.
