Optics Expert

We seek a skilled optics professional to collaborate on high-resolution imaging projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electron optics, vacuum systems, and lab metrology.

The successful candidate will own the end-to-end development of electron-optical columns, ensuring stable and high-resolution imaging across various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and aligning optical columns for high-performance capabilities
  • Translating theoretical optics into practical tolerances and calibration routines
  • Collaborating with Electronics and Software teams to deliver deterministic beam control and intuitive imaging interfaces
  • Maintaining a comprehensive calibration playbook and training others to operate it

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator able to simplify complex optical concepts into teachable procedures. They will work closely with our founding team to shape project architecture and culture, contributing to the development of India's first commercial Scanning Electron Microscope.
