**Job Title:** Software Development Lead
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced software development lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of our high-complexity projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems following best architectural principles.
  • Lead a team of engineers in solving complex architecture and implementation challenges to achieve stable performance under load with predictable SLA.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle and support created products throughout the entire release cycle.
  • Collaborate with members of the team to define system architectures and drive design reviews.
  • Work with Agile teams to improve development processes and increase teamwork effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 12+ years in an engineering software development role building backend services and APIs is necessary.
  • Strong experience leading design and implementation of robust and highly available and scalable systems/web services using object-oriented methodology, design patterns, SOA, microservices architecture, container technologies, and orchestration systems is required.
  • Proven track record in delivering event-driven, highly available, scalable, resilient enterprise-grade commercial cloud services is essential.
  • Proficiency in developing Java applications is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Java Core, Collections, Multithreading, and Java Memory Model, as well as Garbage collection, is necessary.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture paradigm, event-driven system design, distributed systems, and eventual consistency principles is required.
  • Experience developing REST services, including REST manifesto, stateful/stateless services, and load balancing strategies, is necessary.
  • Strong RDBMS skills, including writing advanced queries, designing table structure/indexes/triggers, query optimization/query plan analysis, are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their applications are essential.
