Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing custom WordPress solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PHP, the WordPress ecosystem, and experience with REST APIs, microservices, and Docker/Podman workflows.

A strong understanding of performance optimization, SQL queries, and accessibility best practices is also essential.

You will work closely with front-end integrators and designers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

To excel in this role, you should be a self-motivated professional with over 4 years of web development experience and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and internal tools.
  • Building and maintaining advanced Gutenberg blocks using hooks, APIs, and custom theme logic.
  • Optimizing database queries and code execution for improved performance.
  • Integrating with REST APIs and supporting complex integrations/microservices.
  • Collaborating with front-end integrators to connect blocks/themes while owning the backend architecture.
Required Skills:
  • Deep expertise in PHP and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Strong SQL skills and proven experience optimizing queries for performance.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.
  • Experience with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments.
  • A performance-minded developer with experience profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution.
  • MacOS or Linux development environment.
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end integrators.
  • Awareness of accessibility and Core Web Vitals best practices.
