Supply Chain Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates with a passion for supply chain management to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile Warehouse and Logistics invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Update and maintain the monthly cost tracker, providing insights into expenses and resource allocation.
  • Compile ageing and shelf-life reports for inventory monitoring, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Analyse SLOB (Slow Moving & Obsolete) articles, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans.
  • Share weekly fill rate reports, facilitating communication across teams.
  • Review and track planning vs. actual performance, optimising operations and improving efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, with knowledge of Pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions preferred.
  • Display good organisational ability, with a focus on prioritisation and meeting deadlines.
  • Exhibit interest in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and open communication.
